The most common and easily understood type of Cyber-physical Attack is a DOS or Denial of Service attack. Denial of Service is a term that originates from hacking attempts on servers which result in the server shutting down or simply being too busy to undertake the actual tasks it is supposed to be doing, thereby interrupting business activities. These attacks are no longer occurring exclusively within IT or server based arenas, but have spread to any system or process within an organisation.
